Prices shown are guide prices only and may vary depending on the piano's make, model, finish, condition and the extent of restoration required.
Every piano is individually assessed before work begins. Written quotations are provided following inspection. Quotations based solely on photographs or videos are estimates only and may be revised following an in-person assessment.
A call-out fee may apply depending on your location. Where restoration work proceeds, this fee will be deducted from the final invoice unless otherwise stated.
Cosmetic repairs are carried out using specialist restoration techniques and are colour matched as closely as practicable to the original finish. Due to variations in manufacturer finishes, ageing, UV exposure, previous repairs and natural wear, an exact match in colour, sheen or reflectivity cannot always be guaranteed.
All repairs are completed to the highest practical standard. However, some repairs may remain detectable under close inspection or certain lighting conditions.
Machine polishing is intended to significantly improve the appearance of the original finish. Whilst light scratches, swirl marks and surface defects can often be substantially reduced or removed, deeper damage, previous repairs and age-related deterioration may remain visible.
Where appropriate, removable cabinet components may be dismantled and reassembled to facilitate restoration. If additional damage or instability is discovered during preparation, any further work will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Existing structural defects, unstable finishes, loose veneers, moisture damage or previous restoration work may limit the achievable cosmetic result. Neotone cannot accept responsibility for the failure of pre-existing defects outside the repaired area.
On-site restoration is subject to suitable access, lighting, working space and power. Where workshop restoration is considered necessary to achieve the best result, this will be discussed prior to any work being undertaken.
Where transportation is required, specialist piano movers are recommended. Neotone cannot accept responsibility for damage occurring during transportation arranged by others. All movers that we use are specialist piano movers and are fully insured.
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.
Should any defect arise as a direct result of our workmanship within 12 months, Neotone will inspect the repair and, where appropriate, rectify it. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, impact damage, environmental conditions, normal wear or deterioration of surrounding finishes.
