Prices shown are guide prices only and may vary depending on the piano's size, finish, condition and the extent of restoration required.
Every piano is individually assessed before work begins, and a written quotation will be provided for approval.
A call-out charge may apply depending on your location. This charge will be deducted in full from the final invoice should you proceed with the recommended work.
Cosmetic repairs and colour matching are carried out using specialist restoration techniques and are matched as closely as possible to the original finish. Due to differences in manufacturer finishes, pigments, ageing, UV exposure and previous repairs, an exact colour or sheen match cannot always be guaranteed.
Piano finishes vary between manufacturers and production periods. High-gloss black, polyester, lacquer and wood finishes may differ in tone, depth and reflectivity, even between similar instruments.
Machine polishing and restoration are intended to significantly improve the appearance of the piano. Whilst light scratches, swirl marks and surface defects can often be greatly reduced or removed, some deeper damage, previous repairs, wear or age-related deterioration may remain visible.
Where appropriate, removable cabinet panels may be dismantled to achieve the highest possible standard of restoration. All components are handled with the utmost care and reassembled following completion of the work.
On-site restoration is subject to suitable access, adequate working space, lighting and a safe power supply. If the environment is unsuitable or the condition of the piano requires more extensive treatment, workshop restoration may be recommended. This will incur an additional transportation fee by specialist piano movers.
Existing structural damage, unstable finishes, loose veneers, moisture damage or previous restoration work may limit the extent of cosmetic improvement achievable.
NeoTone will always advise the most appropriate restoration method before commencing work and will not carry out procedures considered unsuitable for the condition of the instrument.
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
